"In the Spring of 2014, my elderly and disabled mother was looking to sell her house in Toronto and move into a condo closer to my sister. My father had just passed away and the house was too big and difficult for her to maintain on her own. I took on the responsibility of selling the house, buying the new property and moving my mom.
